12 moons is a multi-day sumo tournament.

Initially, players bet on their favoured sumo to win. This bet is placed at the start of the tournament and resolved at the end of the tournament. The maximum bet is 5,000. The payout on a winning bet is 2x.

The tournament then progresses as a series of 1v1, elimination-style matches. The odds of either sumo winning the match are 50:50. Bets are placed at the start of the match and resolved at the end of the match. The maximum bet for each match is 5,000. The payout on a winning bet is 2x.

After favourite sumos are chosen, and before the first match, players will be able to invite their Geisha to the tournament. Invited Geisha will boost all winnings by 20%.

1 ticket is earned by betting on the tournament. A further 1 ticket is earned by betting on each each match. Every 5 tickets held boost winning payouts by 1%.
